Auto liability
Bodily Injury and Property Damage covers injuries or property damage if you're at fault for an accident. The minimum liability limit required by FMCSA is $750,000.
Uninsured/Underinsured motorist
Uninsured motorist coverage protects you if you're involved in an accident with someone who doesn't have Liability insurance. Underinsured motorist is (usually offered with Uninsured motorist) protection if the driver who hit you doesn't have enough insurance to pay for your damages.
Physical damage
Physical damage is a term that includes comprehensive insurance and collision insurance. Collision insurance covers your vehicle if it is involved in an accident. Comprehensive insurance covers your vehicle in the event you hit an animal or have glass damage.
Roadside assistance
Roadside assistance includes coverage for labor and towing. Disablements that are covered:
- Lock-out
- Flat tire
- Battery failure
- Mechanical or electrical breakdown
- Entrapment in snow, mud, water, or sand within 100 feet of a road or highway.
Motor truck cargo
Motor truck cargo covers the commodity you are hauling for-hire. There is also liability coverage for lost or damaged cargo due to fire or collision.
